Woodhouselee Castle
It looks like Old Woodhouselee Castle was a 16th or early 17th century tower house in Scotland. It was located near Penicuik and belonged to the Hamiltons of Bothwellheugh. It is reported that the Regent Moray turned Lady Hamilton and her child out of the property, and the child died and Lady Hamilton went mad. The castle was later demolished and the materials were used to build another property called Woodhouselee, which has since disappeared. Only three cellars and a ruined wing remain of the L-shaped tower. There is a tradition that the ghost of Lady Hamilton haunts the ruins, searching for her baby.
