The Grahams of Fintry acquired Linlathen in the 17th century and built the present house, which they called Fintry. After the property was sold, the original name of Linlathen was restored. There are several memorials of the Grahams remaining at Linlathen, including several date stones. The central portion of Linlathen House has been demolished, and the remaining wings are of late 18th–19th century date. It is now a nursing home.
